Data Deletion

🔒  Guest users (no account) store all data locally on their device. There is no cloud data to delete — simply uninstall the app.

☁️  Signed-in users can request full deletion of their account and all associated cloud data directly from within the app. Requests are processed within 30 days.

How to Request Deletion

Follow these steps inside the Vocal Memo app to submit a deletion request. You do not need to contact us separately — the in-app form is the official deletion channel.

Open Settings

Tap the settings icon on the home screen.

Go to Account

Make sure you are signed in. Your account email will be shown at the top of the Account section.

Tap "Delete Account"

This opens the deletion request form. You can optionally provide a reason for leaving.

Submit the request

Tap Submit Request. You will be signed out immediately and receive an on-screen confirmation.

Wait up to 30 days

Your account and all cloud data will be permanently deleted within 30 days of your request.

Can't access the app? Email us at hello@empyrealworks.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and your account email address.


What Gets Deleted

Deletion is permanent and irreversible. Once your request is processed, your data cannot be recovered.

Local recordings on your device Device storage only Not affected

Local recordings stored on your device are never uploaded automatically and are therefore not included in the cloud deletion. To remove local recordings, delete them individually within the app or uninstall the app.


Timeline

We process all deletion requests within 30 days of submission — in line with Google Play's data deletion policy and GDPR Article 17 requirements.

You will be signed out of the app immediately when you submit your request. If you have a pending request and change your mind, contact us at hello@empyrealworks.com before the 30-day window closes.
